2 fans so..2×460=920

consider fan1: if 10 in 100

then how much in 460?

so cross multiply..460×10÷100=46

so,46 rupees profit. so 460+46=502.

2nd fan:if 5 in 100 then much in 460?

5×460÷100=23..

so 460-23=437

437+502=939 . P=939-920=19

p%=p×100÷c.p

=19×100÷920=2.06%

Answer:

SP of fan sold at 10% gain:

460*11/10 = ₹506

SP of fan sold at 5% loss:

460*19/20= ₹437

Total C.P= 460+460= 920

Total S.p =506+437= 943

Profit% = 943-920/920*100

= 23/920*100

Profit%= 2.5%
