Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of toys bought are x.

Price of 1 toy = 270/x

This should be sold with increase of 5Rs.

270/x + 5 = (5x + 270)/x

There are 8 toys, (5x + 270)/x * 8

= (40x + 2160)/x

Remaining are sold at 20Rs.

Therefore, (x-8)*20

Therefore, (40x + 2160)/x + (x-8)20 = 300. (Because Profit Overall is 30.. Therefore add 270+30)

By solving the above equation

x^2 - 21x + 108=0

x^2 - 12x - 9x + 108 = 0

x = 12 and x = 9
