Answer:

The dealer made a massive profit of 360 %

Step-by-step explanation:

The dealer bought 25 chairs at price 30 rs per chair

The total amount spent by dealer = 25 x 30

                                                        = 750 rs

Now he sold 15 of them for price 150 rs per chair

So cost of 15 chairs = 150 x 15

                                = 2250 rs

And he sold the remaining i.e. 25 - 15 = 10 chairs for rs 120 per chair

So cost of remaining chairs = 10 x 120

                                              = 1200 rs

The total amount gained by the dealer by selling = 1200 + 2250

                                                                                  = 3450 rs

So the dealer made a profit of 3450 - 750 = 2700 rs

Profit % = profit made / amount spent x 100

             = 2700 / 750 x 100

             = 27000 / 75

             = 360 %

Therefore the dealer made massive profit of 360 %
