ANSWER

Find out the what is the profit or loss he gets.

To proof

As given

a dealer buys an article for rupees 7, sells it for rupees 8, buys it back for rupees 9 and sells it again for rupees 10.

a dealer buys an article forf irst time rupees 7,

and buy it second time for rupees 9

than cost price = 7 +9

                         =Rs 16

a dealer sell it first time at 8

sell it second  time at 10

than

selling price =10 + 8

                     = Rs 18

as selling price is more than the cost price

than

profit = selling price - cost price

         = Rs 18 - Rs 16

         = Rs 2

Hence proved
