Let CP = x and MarkPrice = y

He gives 10% discount (its on mark price) so SP = 0.9y

get a profit of 7500 so

20 = ( 7500 / x ) / 100 => x = 37500

So CP = 37500

We want mark price y

so 7500 = SP - CP

7500 = 0.9y - 37500

y = 50000

hope it will help you

Answer:

MP. SP. CP

100. 90

120. 100

BY TAKING RATIO AND SOLVING

MP. SP. CP

10. 9

6. 5

We get the final ratio by solving above

MP 60

SP. 54

CP. 45

WE HAVE GIVEN THE DIFFERENCE OF MONEY SP AND CP 7500 THEN ACTUAL DIFF OF SP CP IS 9 WHICH EQUALS TO 7500

7500/9 WHICH IS MULTIPLY BY MP 60 TO GET FINAL PRICE

THE ANS 50000
