Answer:

(c) He incurred a loss of ₹ 23500

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the information given in the question It is given as

a dealer purchased 50 table for cost =4570 each

9 Tables got damaged in transits

sold the remaining tables for = 5000 each

We  Need to find the correct option  of the question.

50 table cost=4570 x 50

                      =228500

Now 9 tables damaged due to transits

Means 4570 x 9

          =41130

Total cost of damage =41130

Total cost - damaged cost =

(228500 -41130) =187370

He sold remaining tables for =5000 each

As

total - damaged

(50 - 9)  = 41

Hence he got  =5000 x 41

                        =205000

He purchased =228500

He sold finally =205000

Difference value is the  profit or loss

Hence

228500 - 205000

=23500

So it is concluded that statement or option (c) is correct he incurred  a loss  of ₹ 23500
