Marked price of refrigerator would be Rs. 38250.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Cost price of refrigerator = Rs. 25500

Profit % = 205

Discount % = 20%

We need to find the marked price.

So, it becomes,

MP=CP=\dfrac{100+Profit}{100-Discount}\\\\MP=25500\times \dfrac{100+20}{100-20}\\\\MP=25500\times \dfrac{120}{80}\\\\MP=38250

Hence, Marked price of refrigerator would be Rs. 38250.

To Find:

a selling price of refrigerator

b the marked price of the refrigerator

Solution:

 A dealer purchased a refrigerator from a wholesaler at 25,500

Cost Price for Dealer = Rs 25,500

Gain = 20%

Gain = (20/100) (25,500)  =  5100  Rs

Selling Price = Cost Price + gain

=> Selling Price = 25500 + 5100

Marked Price =  M  rs

Discount = 20%

Discount = (20/100)M = 0.2M  Rs

Selling price = Marked Price - Discount

the marked price of the refrigerator = 38250  Rs
