CP of the water cooler = ₹3750

Profit % (r) = 20%

SP of the water cooler = 1 + r /100 * CP

= 1 + 20/100 * ₹3750

= ₹ 4500

Discount % (d) = 10%

SP of the water cooler = 1 - d/100 * MP

₹ 4500 = 1- 10/100 * MP

₹4500 = 9/10 *MP

MP = ₹4500 * 10/9

= ₹5000

Ans.= The marked price of the water cooler is ₹5000.

Solutions :-

Cost Price of the water cooler = ₹ 3750
Profit % = 20%
Discount % = 10%

Find the Selling price :-

S.P = C.P + Profit% of C.P
= ₹ 3750 + 20% of 3750
= ₹ 3750 + 750
= ₹ 4500

Find the marked price :-

M.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 - discount)
= ₹ (4500 × 100)/(100 - 10)
= ₹ 450000/90
= ₹ 5000

Answer = The marked price of the water cooler = ₹ 5000
