Given:

Rs 20000 in intrastate transactions.

Rs 3000 and Rs 18000 in transaction within the state.

To find:

net IGST CGST payable by the dealer.

Solution:

1) Transaction in the intrastate is Rs 20000.

  • IGST = 18/100×20000
  •         = 3600

2) Transaction within the state is 3000+18000 =Rs 21000

  • CGST = 18/100×21000
  •           = 3780

Net GST paid by the dealer is Rs 7380.

Step-by-step explanation:

GST=18%

Total value of receipts = Rs 18000

= 9/100×18000

CGST= Rs 1620

SGST=Rs 1620

= Rs 3240

Value of supply =Rs 20000

GST=18%

CGST= NIL

SGST= NIL

IGST=18/100×20000

= Rs 3600-Rs 3240

= Rs 360

GST=18%

Value of supply = Rs 3000

CGST= 9/100×3000

= Rs 270

SGST = Rs 270
