Given : dealer X in Rampur (U.P.) bought goods for  36,000

sold the same goods to another dealer Y in Rampur (UP) for 36800

rate of GST is 12%,

To Find :  net CGST and SGST payable  by the  dealer X.

Solution:

dealer X in Rampur (U.P.) bought goods for 36,000

CGST = SGST = GST/2 = 12/2 = 6 %

CGST = SGST = (6/100)36000 = Rs 2160 Each

sold the same goods to another dealer Y in Rampur (UP) for 36800.

CGST = SGST = GST/2 = 12/2 = 6 %

CGST = SGST = (6/100)36800 = Rs 2208 Each

net CGST and SGST payable by the  dealer X.

2208  - 2160

= RS 48 Each

net CGST and SGST payable by the  dealer X.

SGST = Rs 48

CGST = Rs 48
