Science Has in the last two hundred years has made everyone’s life better. Two hundred years ago people died from so many things that people today don’t have to worry about, the first is having a fever. a simple fever killed anyone that didn’t have a strong imune system. Children and the old were easily killed by a simple fever, from a small infection. But a scientist that was working on what could kill germs left his lunch next to a petri dish, and left for a few days. When he returned his bread molded and spores made it into the dish killing the sample in the dish. Thus he discovered penicillin and has saved millions of lives over, and over again. It really is countless lives from early death just from fevers, not to forget all kinds of infection.

Anyone that has a broken bone can thank science again for giving us a way to save lives, by seeing into the body and giving people a chance to heal and even live in some cases. Thanks to X-rays.

Scienctist / doctors found that simply by washing their hands and instruments saved many lives mothers died often in childbirth aswell as the children, because the doctor didn’t bother to wash their hands and went from one patience to the next without simplly cleaning their hands. This simple thing brought deadly germs to healthly patiiences causing death. God only knows how many lives have been saved because the doctors wash thier hands.

Over and over we have to thank science for our lives. Medicine is the science and practice of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Thank god, we have people who search for ways to keep us healthly.

Our food supply has incressed and we are able through science able to feed so many people, saving lives. That wasn’t always like that. That brings us to the weather and the people who through science and study save lives finding out how storms are made and tracking them through science, saving many lives by warning us when a deadly storm is on the way. We even can warn people of eathquakes, that would perventing more deaths. We can even tell farmers how to grow food to get the best yeilds and how to save crops from the weather. Can we count the lives these things have saved, no because it is on going.

Technology in so many ways has made our lives better. Technology has saved lives by just havig a cell phone, we can call for help even a way from home in a car in the woods. How many lives have been saved just by cell phones you can say it is countless lives, when minutes count cells have saved lives.

Computers and the internet have given us knowledge that was once locked -up in libraries all around the world, this is a gift. Once you had to travel to remote regions up mountains to seek this knownledge. Which was very costly, to try to do. Sitting in my home I can learn anything my heart desires. It makes us able to do what no one could before and lives have been saved, because scienctists can share thier work everywhere with everyone.
