In my point of view, desert coolers are much better option than air conditioners. This is because on a hot dry day, temperature is high and humidity is low which helps in better evaporation. Air conditioners do not cools in such condition. Hence, desert coolers are more effective than air conditioners. also, desert coolers consume relatively less amount of energy than air conditioners.
