"The issue of power sharing was dealt with differently in both the countries. While the leaders in Belgium had a impartial approach to solve the problem by giving equal importance to both Dutch and French population in the country, it was pretty partial in Sri Lanka.

In Lanka the majoritarian policies led to the outbreak fo a civil war thereby putting the unity and peace of the country at stake.
