It depends whether the deck has 52 or 54 (full deck, plus two Jokers) cards. If 52 then you have a 12 in 52 chance of drawing a K, Q, or J. This can be simplified to 3 in 13. If you also have the jokers in the mix, you have a 12 in 54 chance, which can be simplified to 6 in 27 chance.
If this is a trick question and you are using a Pinochle deck, then you have two sets of A, 10, K, Q, J, & 9 or 48 cards… with a 24 in 48 chance: in other words 1 in 2 chance, or exactly 50%.
This may be even a trickier question: nothing in the question says you are shuffling a full deck of cards. Not knowing the denominator of the equation
