CANYONS AND BADLANDS

ANSWER- OTHER

The answer can be Canyon or Gorge or Ravine.

Explanation-

Both Canyons and Gorge are deep valleys formed due to weathering and erosion by flowing water.

The difference is Canyon is wider than a Gorge . Gorge is steeper and narrower and also small.

Here in the question it is only given: a deep narrow valley formed by running water

Geographically speaking Canyons are located mostly in the arid areas while Gorges are located in the temperate areas.

Ravine and gorge is the same thing and are used interchangeably.

Badlands is a dry area with large sedimentary rocks of weird shapes. No plants or vegetation is present in the area due to erosion. The sedimentary rocks and the clay rich soil present there both are extensively eroded.
