Mass density of a substance is the mass divided by the volume occupied by the substance.

density = mass / volume

density = 70 g / 1.8³ cm³  = 12 gm/cm³

  unit in SI system of density =  kg/m³ = 1000 * density value in CGS , in gm/cm³

     density of tin box = 350 gm/200 cc = 1.75 gm/cc
                     = 1.75 * 1000 kg/m³ = 1, 750 kg/m³
