(c) 1.Basic fertilizers are used to neutralize acid soils and acidic fertilizers are used to neutralize basic soils in agriculture.

2.Bee stings and ant stings, which are acidic, are commonly neutralized with basic baking powder. 3.Wasp sting is basic and is usually neutralized with vinegar.
