(a) Define second equation of motion, s= ut + 1/2 at ^2 graphically where the symbol have their usual meanings. (b) A car accelerates uniformly from 18 km/h to 36 km/h in 5 seconds. calculate (1) the acceleration and (2) the distance covered by the car in that time.​

u = 18km/h. = 18*5/18= 5m/sec

v=36 km/h =36*5/18=20m/sec

t=5sec

acc.=v-u/t

=20-5 ms^-1 /5s

=3 m/s^2

ans[b] =s =v^2 -u^2/2a

=20^2-5^2 /2*3

=400 -25 /6

= 375/6

=62.5m
