B) in a long distance race, the athletes were expected to take from round of the track such that line of finish was same at the line of start suppose the radius of track is 105m.

1) what is the total distance to be coverd by the athletes ?

Hey Friend ☺

☆ TYPES OF MOTIONS ☆

》Uniform Circular Motion :- When a object moves with constant speed along a circular path , the motion is called uniform circular motion .

》Distance covered is equal to the circumference of circular path

Distance covered = 2× pie × r

= 2 × 22/7 × 105

= 2 × 22 × 15

= 660 m

So the total distance covered by the athlete is 660 m

》The displacement of the athlete is zero . Since the finish line and start line is same .

》The motion is uniform or non - uniform is decided only when speed is given.

Hope it helps you ..!!
