Answer:

Explanation:

A.The velocity of an object is the rate of change of its position with respect to a frame of reference, and is a function of time. Velocity is equivalent to a specification of an object's speed and direction of motion.

Odometer, or odograph, is a device that measures the distance travelled by an automobile based on the perimeter of the wheel as the wheel rotates. The odometer gives us only the measure but doesn't show the direction of velocity. The odometer measures the scalar quantity – the speed of the car.

B.Here,

Time= 4 seconds= 4÷3600 hr( Here I converted seconds to hr you can also convert speed to m/sec)

Speed=45km/hr

Distance=?

Formula used=

Speed= Distance÷ Time

So, Distance= Speed× Time

Distance= (45×4)÷3600km

Distance=0.05km= 50m

So Distance travelled is 50m or 0.05km

Hope this will help.

Answer:

Velocity is the rate of change of the position of an object. Mathematically it is division of displacement by time. It is a vector quantity. Its S.I. unit is m/s.       The odometer of a car indicates the distance traveled by it

B) 50M
