A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the object's interaction with another object. Whenever there is an interaction between two objects, there is a force upon each of the objects.

force can do one of four things to an object:

• Make it speed up - accelerate.
• Make it slow down - decelerate.
• Change its direction.
• Change its shape.

Two types of forces :-

1. contact force

2. non-contact force
