In the field of atomic physics, Rutherford-Bohr model or Bohr diagram or simply Bohr model was given by Neils Bohr and Ernest Rutherford, in 1913. The model depicts the atom as a positively charged small nucleus which is surrounded by electrons travelling in circular orbits around the nucleus

Limitations: Bohr’s model is only applicable to a single e- system i.e , only applicable to hydrogen or hydrogen like species (containing only one e- like He, Li, Be, etc) and fails for a multi-electron system.
