Water is essential for our existence, without water humans as well as other living organisms would not be able to survive.

Water scarcity is when there are insufficient water resources to fulfill the needs of the area. All sectors of livelihood suffer due to it.

The agricultural sector is badly effected as water is a main component of farming. Without water, production of raw material is not possible. People would not have sufficient food supplies. Hence, a famine may occur.

Along with humans, other creatures also suffer. Livestock like humans, require water as it is a basic need. However, due to lack of water, they may suffer from dehydration; eventually leading to their death.

Agriculture and farming are a huge economic resource as well. With negative effects on farming and livestock, the country would also have an economic downfall
