EXPLAINATION ➣

Deutron has same charge as proton but mass of deutron is twice that of proton.

So, m(d) = 2m(p) and q(d) = q(p)

We know that Force F = Eq

So, F(d) = Eq(d), F(p) = Eq(p)

And acceleration a = F/m

 \frac{a_d}{a_p}  =  \frac{ \frac{Eq_d}{2m_p} }{ \frac{Eq_p}{m_p} }  =  \frac{1}{2}

Here qd = qp
