- A diagonal of a quadrilateral is 50 cm long
and the length of the perpendiculars on it
from the opposite vertices is 15 cm and 17
cm. Find the area of the quadrilateral.​

Length of 2 perpendiculars = diagonal 2

= 15 + 17

=32cm

For finding area of this quadrilateral we will use the formula of rhombus

= 1/2 x 50 x 32

= 50 x 16

= 800

Therefore area of the quadrilateral is 800sq.cm
