Given:-

  • A dice thrown 200 times outcome as follow
  • 1 = 40
  • 2 = 32
  • 3 = 32
  • 4 = 25
  • 5 = 38
  • 6 = 33

To find:-

  • probability of getting
  • 1
  • 3
  • 6
  • an odd number
  • an even number

Solution:-

hence,

as per first condition

A = 1

total out come = (40)

p(a) =  \frac{n(a)}{n \: (s)}  =  \frac{40}{200}  =  \frac{1}{5}  \\  \\

as per second condition

B = 3

total out come of probability getting 3 is 32

p(b) =  \frac{n(b)}{n(s)}  =  \frac{32}{200}  =  \frac{16}{100}  =  \frac{4}{25}  \\  \\

as per 3 rd condition ,

C =6

total out come of probability getting 6 is 33

p(c) =  \frac{n(c)}{n(s)}  =  \frac{33}{200}  \\  \\

as per 4th condition

D = an odd number

as per this condition odd number total number of out come of probability is 1 , 3 , 5

40 + 32 + 38 = 110

p(d) =  \frac{n(d)}{n(s)}  =  \frac{110}{200}  =  \frac{11}{20}  \\  \\

as per 5 th conditiom

E = even number

as per this condition even number total number of out come of probability 2 , 4 and 6

32 + 25 +33 = 90

p(e) =  \frac{n(e)}{n(s)}  =  \frac{90}{200}  =  \frac{9}{20}  \\  \\
