total outcomes in dice =1,2,3,4,5,6

For prime ni:

Favourable outcome=1,3,5

Probability=total outcome/possible favourable outcomes.

P(e)=3/6
=1/2

For 2nd case

Sample space for no. lie between 2&6 are;
{3,4,5}

P(e)=3/6
=1/2.

Answer: here,total no.of outcomes are 6

Now,

F=3

P(of getting prime no.) = F/N

=3/6

=1/2

F =3

P(of getting no.between 2and 6) =F/N

=3/6

=1/2
