Answer :-

Given -

  • Dice is rolled one time

To Find -

  • Probability of coming result an odd number ≥ 3

Solution -

If a dice is rolled, then total possible outcomes are 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 and 6.

Total outcomes = 6

Here, we have to find probability of getting odd number greater than or equal to 3.

So, odd number greater than or equal to 3 which can be obtained when a dice is rolled are :- 3 , 5

So, there are two number possible.

Possible outcomes = 2

Probability = Possible outcomes / Total outcomes

= 2 / 6

= 1 / 3

Probability of getting result as an odd number greater than or equal to 3 is 1/3.
