Step-by-step explanation:

When a die is thriwn once the sample space will be n(S)=6.

Now, let A be the case of getting a prime no. There are three prime nos. on a die ie. 2,3,5.

So Probability of getting a prime no. is P(A)=3/6=0.5

Now, there are 2,4 and 6- three even nos. and three odd nos. ie.1,3,5.

So,probability of getting an even no. and an odd no. is 0.5 and 0.5 repectively.

Hope this helps.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total outcomes that can occur are 1,2,3,4,5,6

Number of possible outcomes of a dice=6

Numbers which are odd=1,3,5

Total numbers which are odd=3

Probability of getting an odd number

=(Number of outcomes where there is an odd)÷(Total number of outcomes)

=

6

3

=
