the correct answer is 1/2
as total no. of outcomes of one is 3 and total outcomes is 6
so,P(E) =3/6=1/2

ANSWER:

Probability - It is a number which quantifies as 0 or 1 it can never be more than zero, so what is probability now. Okay so probability is the measure quantifying the likelyhood of the event that will occur.

So in the given question we can see it is mentioned that three faces of a dice have 1 written and other three faces have 2,3,4

respectively.

So now the total number of outcomes will be 6.

Number of times 1 will occur= 3 (as it has three faces)

So the required probability

P(E) = 3/6

=1/2(ans)
