Hey there...

Numbers that are odd in a dice = 1,3,5

Total number of odd numbers = 3

Total number of possible outcomes = 6

Probability of getting an odd number = 3/6 = 1/2.

\frac{1}{2}

When a die is rolled the outcomes are {1,2,3,4,5,6}

Total outcomes = 6

Odd numbers are = {1,3,5}

Favourable outcomes = 3

Probability = \frac{Favourable outcomes }{total outcomes} =\frac{3}{6} =\frac{1}{2}
