a) probability of getting an odd number = 75+65+68 = 208/400
b) probability of getting a prime number= (2,3,5,7...) = 60+65+68= 193/400
c) probability of getting a number less than 4 (1,2,3) = 75+60+65= 200/400= 1/2

Hope this helps you.....!

Answer:

(a) Probability of occurrence of an odd number is 0.52

(b) Probability of occurrence of a prime number is 0.4825

(c) Probability of occurrence a number less than 4 is 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

A die is thrown 400 times.

Therefore, the total number of events = 400

Now to calculate the probability in each option we have to calculate the number of favorable events.

(a) Probability of occurrence of an odd number = \frac{\text{Favorable event}}{\text{Total number of events}}

Favorable events = Frequencies of getting an odd number (1, 3, 5)

                             = (75 + 65 + 68)

                             = 208

Probability = \frac{208}{400}

                  = 0.52

(b) Frequencies of getting a prime number (2, 3, 5) = 60 + 65 + 68 = 193

Probability = \frac{193}{400}

                  = 0.4825

(c) Frequencies of getting a number less than 4 (1, 2, 3) = 75 + 60 + 65 = 200

Probability to get a number less than 4 = \frac{200}{400}

                  = 0.5
