even number =2,4,6
probability = 90+68+157/600
= 315/600=0.525
odd number =1,3,5
probability =60+175+50/600
= 285/600
=0.475
total probability =even no. + odd no.
= 0.525+0.475=1

Solution:-
Question (1)

Total even numbers = 2, 4 and 6

Total number of times die is thrown = 600

Number of times outcome is 2 = 90

Probability of the outcome 2 = 90/600

Number of times outcome is 4 = 68

Probability of the outcome 4 = 68/600

Number of times outcome is 6 = 157

Probability of the outcome 6 = 157/600

Probability of getting an even number in the next throw of dice

= 90/600 + 68/600 + 157/600

= 315/600

= 21/40

= 0.525

Question (2)

Total odd numbers = 1, 3 and 5

Total number of times die is thrown = 600

Number of times outcome is 1 = 60

Probability of the outcome 1 = 60/600

Number of times outcome is 3 = 175

Probability of the outcome 3 = 175/600

Number of times outcome is 5 = 50

Probability of the outcome 5 = 50/600

Probability of getting an odd number in the next throw of dice

= 60/600 + 175/600 + 50/600

= 285/600

= 19/40

= 0.475
