Hello friend,

Here's your answer: (©)

Let's fist see the formula
p  =  \frac{number \: of \: trials \: \: in \: which \: the \: event \: happened}{total \: number \: of \: trials}
Therefore according to his formula let us solve the Questions

In a die, there are 6 numbers which are 1,2,3,4,5,6.
So in a die:
(i) Prime numbers : 2,3,5
So here, number of trials = 3
Total number of trials = 6
Therefore Probability = 3/6 = 1/2.
(ii) Composite numbers : 4,6
So here, number of trials = 2
Total number of trials = 6
Therefore Probability = 2/6 = 1/3.
(iii) Neither prime nor composite = 1
So here, number of trials = 1
Total number of trials = 6
Therefore Probability = 1/6.

Hope my Answer helps you.
