when a dice is thrown we get the following out comes
S = { 1,2,3,4,5,6}
n(S) = 6
probability of getting 3 is 1/6 [as there is only one 3]
probability of getting 4 is 1/6 [ there is only one 4]
Using addition theorem of of probability ,
probability of getting 3 or 4 is 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3
S = { 1,2,3,4,5,6}
n(S) = 6
probability of getting 3 is 1/6 [as there is only one 3]
probability of getting 4 is 1/6 [ there is only one 4]
