A die is thrown once.
Let 'S' be the Sample Space.
S={ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 }
n(S)= 6

Let event A be the number greater than 5
A={ 6}
n(A) = 1
p(A) =1/6

Ans: The probability of getting a number greater than 5 is 1/6

I hope this helps you.
