Total probable outcomes=6.

a) A prime number (from 1-6=1,2,3,5)=4/6= 2/3.

b)A number lying between 2 and 6 (3,4,5)=3/6=1/2

c).Ann odd number (1,3,5)=3/6=1/2

let a die be thrown

total number of outcomes = { 1,2,3,4,5,6} = 6

a) number of outcomes of prime number
={ 2,3,5} = 3

P( getting a prime no.) =

no. of outcomes/ total no. of outcomes

= 3/6 = 1/2 ans..

b) number laying between 2 and 6

=) { 3,4,5} = 3

p(getting lying between. 2 and 6) =

3/6= 1/2

c) odd no. ={ 1,3,5} = 3

p(getting odd) = 3/6

=1/2

hope it helps....
