Sample Space : { 1,2,3,4,5,6 }
n(S) = 6

1)

Event E1 : number is even : { 2,4,6 }

n(E1) = 3

P(E1) = n(E1)/n(S) = 3/6 = 1/2

2)

Event E1 : number is greater than 2
{ 3,4,5,6 }

n(E2) = 4

P(E2) = n(E2)/n(S) = 4/6 = 2/3
