Rolling a die twice and rolling two dice are treated the same!

First we will find the probability of getting a 5.

Therefore, possible outcomes = (1,5) (2,5) (3,5) (4,5) (5,5) (6,5) (5,1) (5,2) (5,3) (5,4) (5,5) (5,6)

Probability = No. of favourable outcomes / Total

= 12 / 36

Thus, probability of not getting 5

= 1 - 12/36

= (36 - 12)/36

= 24/36

= 2/3
