I'm an expert because I myself lost weight....
eat food which are less in fat like :
Kiwi
some apples
and make sure use also consume protein:
almonds
eggs(optional)
bananas
walnut... etc
and drink enough water.. download an app which reminds you to drink water..
do cardio exercise....
consume less carbohydrates...
stay fit.. best of luck for your journey
