ALKANES
~Alkanes are those compounds which have at least 1 double bond
~These are saturated.
~ e.g. Methane,Ethane, etc.

~ These comlunds have at least 1 double bond.
~ These are unsaturated.
~ E.g. Methene, Ethene etc.

Alkanes burn with a clean flame because they have less quantity of carbon hence supply of oxygen is proper.
