Paleolithic Tools:

• Simple tools like hand-axes and tools for chopping and crushing

• Tools were made out of stone or animal bone, and sticks
• The tools were mainly made for the purpose of hunting

Neolithic Tools:

• More complex tools like spears, polished arrowheads and harpoons, and even types of sickles and hand-ploughs.
• Tools were made of stone, bone and wood, and had better finish and design
• The tools were made for both hunting and agricultural purposes
