    The number of persons who prefer both fish and chicken is= 20

  • Persons do not prefer either fish or Chicken = 10.
  • Persons do not prefer fish = 50 = (person only prefer fish + do not prefer either fish or chicken)  ==> 50 = X+10. X = 40.
  • Person only prefer Chicken = 40
  • person prefer Chicken = 60.
  • So, person prefer both fish and chicken= 60 - 40 =20.
