normally we could say it as we have 23 pairs of chromosomes right.then the 'n' no. of chromosomes stands for haploid i.e., 23 and where as the '2n' is diploid i.e., 46 chromosomes.the diploid cell is the cell which containing '2n' no. of chromosoomes.
