let the proportionality constant is x

then disaster relief team consists of engineers = 2x

and disasters relief team consists of doctors = 5x

given, number of engineers in team = 18 = 2x ⇒ x = 9

so, number of doctors in team = 5x = 5 × 9 = 45

hence, there are 45 doctors in team.

Dear student,

Solution:

Let the common factor of both the ration be x.

So,According to the ratio, Doctors are = 5x

Engineers are = 2x

ATQ Engineers are 18.

so 2x =18

x = 9

So Doctors are 5x

= 5(9)

=45

In disaster relief team ,number of doctors included are 45.
