Dear Student,

● Answer -

Fruit seller's gain is 37.5 %.

● Explaination -

Given that fruit-seller uses a weight of 800 g for the kg weight.

So this fruit seller sells his goods at -

Propessed SP = CP × (100+10) %

Propessed SP = CP × 110 %

But original selling price per kg is -

Original SP = Professed SP × 1000/800

Original SP = CP × 110 % × 1000/800

Original SP = CP × 137.5 %

Hence, gain to the fruit seller is 137.5 - 100 = 37.5 %.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
