When the man adds 0.2 l of water to the milk his CP becomes 30/1.2 = 25 rupees per litre.
gain = SP-CP = 32-25=7 rupees
gain percent= (7/25)*100 = 28 percent

Answer:

28% gain

Step-by-step explanation:

Milk bought per litre by milkman = Rs 30 (Given)

Water added to the milk = 1/5w (Given)

Milk sold per litre by milkman = Rs 32 (Given)

Since, in 1 l milk the water addes is 1/5 water, thus -

Total milk 1+1/5 = 1.2 L

Cost of 1.2 L = Rs. 30

Thus for 1 L it will be = 30/1.2

= Rs. 25

Since, the selling Price is 32

Hence, the profit will be = 32-25 = 7

Thus, profit in terms of percentage will be = 7/25 = 28%

The gain of milkman is 28%.
