Let the CP of 1kg = 1000

Then CP of 950 gram = 950

SP of 950 gram = 1000

Profit = 1000 - 950 = 50

Profit % = 50/950 × 100 = 500/95 = 5.26%

Actual profit is 5.26%

<b>Solution:-

Lets assume that he sold 1000 gm good.

Cost for 1g = 1 Rupee.

=> Cost for 950 g = 950 Rupee.

 = > gain \: \% = \frac{(1000 - 950)100}{950} \\ \\ = > \frac{50 \times 100}{950} \\ \\ = > \frac{100}{19} \\ \\ = > 5 \times \frac{5}{19} \\ \\ = > 5.26\%
