When a vector is divided into a horizontal and vertical Components it is named as rectangular components because they are at an angle of 90 degrees or are perpendicular to each other.
The components are taken in the form of x axis and y axis.
The magnitude of vector given here is 4 hence the X component for 4 will be 4 cos theta and Y component for 4 will be 4 sin theta where theta is equal to 30 degrees
So,
X = 4cos θ
Y = 4 sin θ
