Now, mirror formula is:

1/v+1/u=1/f. Therefore,

1/v-1/2v=1/20 OR

1/2v=1/20 OR

v=10cm.

Using this value of v in mirror formula,

1/10+1/u=1/20 OR

u=-20cm.
